I appreciate the quality of emotion that you create with a strong abstract foundational design, then the sense of truth and boldness conveyed by confident brushwork. Seems to me to be the best of both worlds, abstraction and realism: appeals to both the subjective emotions and our recognition of a familiar, more objective reality.
The emotion that you painted into this scene is wonderful. I love the reflections and the abstract quality. You got your point across to the viewer without spelling out every detail. You should be pleased with this one.....I am!
