On The Road, A Painters Journal
A Daily Painting Blog
by Arnold Levine on 8/15/2011 11:18:05 AM

This a small study of a larger painting I did of the same subject. I painted the larger picture using the smaller one from memory.
I will often do this because of the inconvience I feel exists working outdoors on large pieces.
Many Artists still work oversize outside, bit since I am mostly a studio painter. That is where I usually am.
There had been a rain that night and the small creek along a walking path near the Rever became my subjet.
