I am presently recovering from a total knee replacement operation. It is proving a very exhausting experience,
and has kept me away from the easel for too long.

I will be starting a new small painting group that will include work done in the studio. These paintings will help me to get back into my larger work. They will be posted on my site several times each week and will be offered
at really affordable prices.

I still havent had my surgery but I have been slowed down by my condition a bit. I am hoping to have surgery in May and be fully recoverd by July. So keep on checking for updates. And check out the auction beginning this weekend

I havent been posting any blogs lately, because of some health issues. I will be having some major
surgery this month and I'll be sidelined for a few weeks. I will post an occassional piece while
am awaiting a surgery date, but for a little while I'm signing off!

Two doctors have told me that I need to have both my knees replaced.  The pain in my knees as well as my back has knocked me off my feet. So until I have surgery I'll be kind of limited in my travel. It looks like a chance to do some still lfe paintings again. 

I am starting a new group of small  paintings that I can add to my 100 paintings project.  This will culminate in an exhibit that is being planned. In the meantime I am offering these small works for a limited time, for $100.00

The Maine Coast in winter is one of my favorite subjects.

When you stand near the shore at Norrie Point State Park and the river is high ;on just the right day
you might think you were in Maine.

This painting on prepared birch panel is cradled for easy hanging. It measures 12x12".
